New mobile sensor and system virtualization options on display from March 28-31 in Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur, March 28, 2022 – Mobile network security expert GSMK today unveiled its next-generation mobile sensor for the GSMK Overwatch® air interface defense system as well as new virtualization options for the GSMK Oversight® mobile core network intrusion detection system at DSA and NATSEC Asia 2022, Asia’s largest Defence and Homeland Security exhibition.

The new GSMK Overwatch mobile sensor, designed for protecting sensitive assets and individuals on the move, is based on an all-new hardware architecture that results in lighter weight and extended operating times when powered by the sensor’s built-in battery. It combines with the other system components to make GSMK Overwatch the only strategic air interface security system capable of simultaneously protecting hundreds of locations, stationary and mobile, against IMSI Catchers and other hostile base stations. Another popular use case in focus at DSA is integrity protection for GNSS/GPS radio navigation services.

In tandem with the new sensor, GSMK introduced new virtualization options for the GSMK Oversight mobile core network intrusion detection system, permitting deployment of the GSMK Oversight system on private as well as public clouds. These new virtualization options give network operators additional flexibility for system deployment and operation.
