GSMK Overwatch Generation 2 network defense system with advanced sensor fusion makes its debut at MWC 2019 Barcelona
Barcelona, Spain, February 2019 – Mobile network security expert GSMK is introducing Generation 2 of its GSMK Overwatch® network defense system at Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona, the world’s largest gathering for the mobile industry.
Generation 2 of the GSMK Overwatch system features a new rule-based analytics engine as well as new modular sensors that allow the system to be flexibly configured for detecting, localizing and neutralizing threats to cellular networks, GNSS/GPS navigation, and air traffic control systems. This not only allows mobile network operators and public safety and security organizations to protect the public against IMSI Catchers and other rogue base stations; it also permits air traffic control stations and other aviation users to monitor the integrity of GNSS/GPS as well as other radio navigation services.
“The GSMK Overwatch system continues to be the only strategic air interface security system capable of protecting mobile network operators, public safety and security organizations, and aviation infrastructure alike”, commented Dr. Bjoern Rupp, GSMK’s Chief Executive Officer. “By fusing data from multiple inexpensive sensors, the backend system can provide a live integrated situation report even for very large geographic areas. GSMK Overwatch® thus remains the system of choice for users to regain sovereignty over their airspace.”
GSMK is showcasing its entire network and mobile device security products as well as its voice and message encryption solutions at Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona from February 25-28 in Hall 6, Stand 6C60.
